As you can see by my employment history if you check it, you will notice i have only been in one corp since i have started the awesome journey into EVE over four years ago... Well set back, take a load off and ill tel you why....
I was a hi-sec carebear noob for about a year, missioning and looking at all those corps/alliances that came and went daily, but nothing caught my fancy, nor did the recruitment channel, so i just missioned and dreamed of the riches of EVE knowing some day i would make a change. Well it so happened one day i was in recruitment channel and all these pppl were saying how good they were, ( still not interested ) when this guy gets on there and starts cracking jokes and saying ppl should enjoy there time and make friends... I got to admit some of the jokes were pretty funny, and his comments about their corp and what they were doing and planned to do caught my attn. Then he said he would even escort ppl to there new home if they joined, which seemed cool to me cause i hadnt gone very far from where i was, to scared of the unknown i guess..=p.
So i figured, if he's willing to go that far, well lets see what happens.. so i convo'd him and said, hey im kinda interested i think but im 30 odd jumps from you, would you be willing to excort me there if i choose to join/am accepted. Almost instantly i got a yes, of course.. Well i figured wtf, it cant hurt to try, so i applied, when i was accepted i asked him, hey can you come get me and bring me to my new home? And he said, im already half way there.. Awesome i thought! Here we go... True to his word, little later he shows up in local and excorted me to what was to be my one and only home....
After i had gotten settled and starting to know the guys i felt at ease and they were awesome at helping me learn things i didnt know existed and the pvp thing i heard about they were just getting ready to go into head first... The first place we settled after i got there was Blue Sun Trust. Great bunch of ppl but it didnt seem to fit into what we were looking towards, so our ever present CEO ARGUS, showed us the gate to what was to be our destiny in EVE, thats right null-sec lol. WE followed him into the unknown a little skittish, but had we known, we had nothing to worry about, we learned soon enough he was a fearless leader who always looked ahead and made sure he had our best interests in mind while looking over his shoulder to make sure we never got left behind or felt left out... And four years later, he is still the same if not better at keeping our interests and EVE enjoyment close to his heart.
With his courage and guideance we plunged into 0.0 and found many a new home, one of which helped shape us into better pvp pilots, Foundati0n (FDN), then on to a few other homes, learning as we went and making fierce friends as we explored the vastness of the EVE universe..
WE are now settled in with Brick Squad, and having a blast.. I could set here all day and tell how how awesome we are, logistics perfected over the years so that u can alt but things in hisec, contract it and it majically appears in your hanger in an impressive amount of time, or the ship replacement program, or a number of other awesome things, but... the main thing is the people that you get to know, fly with, fight and die with... Thats the most awesome thing about -S-F-... The people have your back, teach you and help you grow, and make sure you have an awesome time doing pvp. Thats what its all about isnt it?
So dont just set there dreaming, take the leap of faith and do something you will never regret and enjoy for a long time to come, join Star Frontiers, Best Frontiers, and make some history of your own!
